Junior High group

This merry crew was my first group on Star Island! Some junior high groups like to pose for the group pictures, others didn’t. Of the other junior high groups I taught I also have a picture from 2000 ; one from 1999; two group shots from 1997, both on East Rock, ’a’ and ’b’; two from 1995, one on the front lawn and one in Lawrence; one from 1993; and three from 1991, one on East Rock, one on the cliff above the Trap Dike and one at the Smith Monument .

Aimee, Dayva, Amy and Kris were sitting watching the waves. I moved behind and uphill from them to fake a picture making it look like they were closer than they actually were. I needn't have thought about faking it. The wave in the picture soaked me to my waist!
