Worship is an important part of the day—Morning Chapel before breakfast at 7:30, Evening Chapels at both 9 and 10 pm, as well as Vespers—help to shape each day.

Minister of the Week
Rev. Hope Johnson, UU Congregation of Central Nassau, Garden City, NY, is our minister of the week and will watch over our spirits.

Morning Activities
Mornings on Star Island offer time before the day's activities begin, like:
  • Wake up the island with the Wake-Up Singers.
  • Swim with the other "polar bears" from the dock.
  • Experience meditative outdoor yoga, weather permitting.
  • Take a contemplative walk around the island.
  • Enjoy coffee, hot chocolate and tea on the front porch.

  • Join the conversation in Porch Chats, with a guest speaker each day.
  • Visit the Resource Room to find materials related to our conference.
  • Rent a row boat and take a spin or explore a nearby island.
  • Visit the Art Barn and let your creativity flow.
